Quality Control in Jewelry Manufacturing
At OSKA, every order is produced according to the approved sample and the dimensions in the quote. This page summarizes the stages at which checks are carried out.
Where checks are made
- Design: Production does not start until the CAD model and prototype are approved.
- Karat and weight: Karat and weight are checked against the values in the quote for 9, 10, 14 and 18 karat gold and 925 silver.
- Stones and setting: Stone placement and security are checked after stone setting and finishing.
- Soldering and surface: Joints, polish and plating are checked.
- Size and clasp: Ring size is checked, and clasps and buckles are tested to make sure they work.
Approval with a sample
A sample can be prepared before serial production if requested. The sample you approve becomes the reference for the order.
Stone certificate
For natural diamonds or lab-grown diamonds, you can state your certificate request at the quote stage. A certificate belongs to the stone itself; it is not a document issued for the finished jewelry. Which stone will be used is clarified before the order.
