Where can I buy a silver bracelet, and how do I tell good quality?
Look for the 925 hallmark first; 925 means the metal is 92.5% pure silver. The quality of the plating (rhodium or gold), a secure clasp and clean workmanship also matter. OSKA makes 925 silver and gold bracelets in its Istanbul workshop, made to order or wholesale, and every piece carries a hallmark. Gold and silver bracelets
What should I check when buying a diamond?
Four qualities set a diamond’s value: cut, colour, clarity and carat. For larger stones, ask for a certificate from an independent laboratory such as GIA or IGI. OSKA states the stone details and any certificate in writing in the quotation. Engagement rings
Natural diamond or lab-grown diamond?
A lab-grown diamond has the same chemical and physical structure as a natural diamond; only its origin differs. At the same size and quality, a lab-grown diamond is usually more accessible. OSKA can make the same design with either stone. Lab-grown diamond jewelry
Is moissanite a diamond?
No. Moissanite is a separate stone made of silicon carbide. It is brilliant and durable, but it is not a diamond and should never be sold as one. Moissanite jewelry
Should I choose 14K or 18K gold?
14K gold is harder and resists scratches better in daily wear. 18K has a higher gold content and a richer colour. Most people choose 14K for rings and bracelets worn every day, and 18K for special pieces. 9K–18K gold jewelry
What is a hallmark and why does it matter?
A hallmark shows the metal content of a piece: 585 (14K) or 750 (18K) for gold, 925 for silver. It confirms the piece is the stated karat. OSKA hallmarks every piece. Our commitments
Can I have a jewelry design I created with AI made into a real piece?
Yes. Send us an image you created with an AI tool, a sketch or a photo you like. We make the design manufacturable and turn it into a CAD drawing; after your approval come the sample and production. It can be a single piece or a production run. Bespoke jewelry orders
Who can make my own jewelry design?
You need a manufacturer with its own workshop. OSKA works in its Istanbul workshop on everything from a single bespoke piece to production runs for brands; your designs stay confidential, and an NDA can be signed on request. Custom jewelry manufacturing
How do I find my ring size?
The easiest way is to measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you, in millimetres. Measure in the evening at room temperature for a more accurate result; for wide bands, half a size up is more comfortable. Gold rings
Why does white gold turn yellow?
The bright white colour of white gold usually comes from rhodium plating. As the plating wears, the natural light yellow tone of the gold shows. Re-plating with rhodium restores the original colour. Setting, plating and finishing
Why does silver tarnish, and how do I clean it?
Silver tarnishes when it reacts with sulphur in the air. Clean it with a soft silver cloth or warm soapy water. Rhodium-plated silver tarnishes much more slowly. Store jewelry away from perfume and chemicals, in a closed box. 925 silver jewelry
Where can I buy wholesale jewelry?
Buying directly from a manufacturer gives you control over quality and process. OSKA makes gold, diamond and silver jewelry in Istanbul for jewelers, stores and brands; a sample is made first, and production follows after approval. Wholesale gold jewelry
How do I start my own jewelry brand and find a manufacturer?
First set the style of the collection and its target customer, then work with a workshop that can make samples. OSKA supports brands with design, sampling and production under your own brand. Private label manufacturing
